Founded by the team behind Som Saa, Kolae specializes in the traditional 'kolae' cooking technique—skewering ingredients, marinating them in a rich coconut curry, and grilling over open flames. The restaurant's three-story setting features an open kitchen and counter dining on the ground floor, a lush, plant-adorned dining room upstairs, and a private dining space at the top, all within a beautifully restored old coach house. Kolae has garnered acclaim for its bold, flavour-packed dishes and exceptional value. The Michelin Guide highlights its "downright delicious cooking" and efficient service, awarding it a Bib Gourmand in 2025.
